The Dominican Republic is in urgent need of our prayers. Since April 7, torrential rains have claimed at least seven lives, displaced over 30,000, and left entire neighborhoods in Santo Domingo submerged. Families are mourning, a child has tragically lost their life, and thousands are sheltering far from home. Rescue crews are battling rising waters and landslides, yet many remain isolated and in peril. I invite you to join me in prayer for those grieving, for the volunteers and rescue workers risking their lives, and for the communities still waiting for help. Together, let us lift our voices in hope and solidarity, believing that comfort will find the grieving, safety will reach the vulnerable, and strength will guide the path to recovery.
